Draft Nova is a free game made by fans. Play fair, be decent to other players, and understand that it is offered as-is with no guarantee it will stay online.
Not an official product
Draft Nova is an unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NFL, the NBA, or any team, and nothing here should be read as suggesting otherwise. Team names and player statistics are used to identify real teams and players in a game about recalling them. Team emblems in the app are original artwork and are not any team's logo.
Your account
One account per person. You are responsible for what happens under it and for keeping your password to yourself. Usernames are visible to other players, so pick one you are happy being seen with — some are refused automatically, and the game tells you when that happens.
Fair play
The ladder only means something if results are earned. Do not:
- use scripts, bots or modified clients to play, queue, or draft;
- arrange results with an opponent, or play yourself on a second account;
- try to reach the database or the simulation API other than by playing the game normally;
- flood matchmaking, friend requests, squads or chat.
Match results are calculated on the server, not in your browser, so a modified client cannot change a score. Accounts that break these rules can have results removed or be closed.
Being decent
Squad chat and usernames are shared spaces. No harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content involving minors, spam, or impersonating another player. Messages can be reported from the chat, and reported content can be removed and accounts closed.
Cosmetics
Banners, badges and icons are decoration. They can be earned, and they can be granted. They have no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold or transferred, and carry no competitive advantage of any kind.
What we do not promise
Draft Nova is provided as-is, with no warranty. It is a free game that may be changed, taken offline, or reset. Simulated results are a model of a sport, not a prediction or a claim about how any real game would go. To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for any loss arising from using it — including loss of an account, a record, or a rank.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from the profile screen; see the privacy page for exactly what that removes. An account may be closed if these terms are broken.
Changes
These terms may change. When they do, the date at the top changes, and continuing to play means the new version applies.
