Draft Nova stores an email address, a username, and how your games went. That is the whole list. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking of any kind, and nothing is sold or shared with anyone.
You can delete all of it yourself, permanently, from the profile screen.
What is stored, and why
- Your email address. It is the only way to reset a password. Without one, an account that gets signed out is gone along with its record and its rank, which is why sign-up asks for it.
- Your username. Other players see it — on the ladder, in a match, in a squad, on a friends list. That is what it is for.
- How your games went. Wins, losses, box-score personal bests, which players you drafted, your rating per sport, and the banners, badges and icons you have unlocked. This is the game.
- Squads and friends. Who you play with, and any messages you send in a squad chat.
- Whether you are online right now, so the player count and matchmaking work. This is deleted when you stop playing.
What is not stored
No location, no device fingerprint, no contacts, no payment details, no advertising identifiers, and no record of anything you do outside this site. There are no third-party scripts on any page, so nobody else is watching either.
Cookies
None. The site uses your browser's local storage for two things: the token that keeps you signed in, and small preferences — your chosen sport, era, and whether sound is on. Clearing site data removes both and signs you out. Nothing there is sent anywhere or used to track you.
Who else can see it
Two companies host this, and neither is given the data for their own use:
- Supabase stores the database and runs sign-in.
- GitHub Pages serves the page you are reading.
Your username and public game record are visible to other players by design — that is what a leaderboard is. Your email address is never shown to anyone. It is held by the authentication system and is not readable by the game, by other players, or by the profiles table the app queries.
Deleting your account
The profile screen has a delete option. It removes your account, your profile, your unfinished matches and your presence record immediately and permanently — there is no recovery window and no support queue in between. Messages you posted in a squad chat stay, attributed to "Deleted player", so a conversation other people took part in does not develop holes.
Completed match results remain, because another player's record depends on them and a ladder you can edit by leaving is not a ladder.
Your rights
If you are in the UK, EU, or a US state with a privacy statute, you have the right to see what is held about you, correct it, delete it, or take it with you. Deletion is built into the app. For anything else, write to the address below and it will be handled.
Children
Draft Nova is not intended for children under 13, and accounts should not be created for them. If you believe one has been, write to the address below and it will be removed.
Changes
If what is collected ever changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. Draft Nova will not start collecting something new and quietly leave this page as it was.
